Staying at Riad Fès – Relais & Châteaux in Morocco

Hello lovely travelers, in this post I want to recommend you a place that I really enjoyed staying at. I was in Morocco and the second city I visited was Fez, here I found the perfect accommodation with one of the best views in town: Riad Fès – Relais & Châteaux.

Located in the heart of the Medina in Fez, this luxury riad welcomes you with some delicious snacks and a cold drink that feels like heaven after the high temperatures outside.

As soon as I stepped inside Riad Fès I was impressed with its architecture and beautiful details where they combine traditional Moroccan architecture with Baroque style that make the interiors stunning!

After a warm welcome the lovely staff took me to my suite and I just couldn’t believe the view I had, I was so lucky to stay there! Every morning I woke up to an spectacular panoramic view of the Medina and a blue sky. The room was perfect and had everything I needed including a mini bar and a private terrace.

Just a few steps from my suite I had the roof terrace with a bar which was ideal to admire the beautiful sunsets with a drink and/or some appetizers. There’s also a bar inside by the Andalusian patio where you can enjoy a cocktail.

Every morning while I was there I woke up to enjoy my view for a little bit and then continue to have a super yummy buffet breakfast at the restaurant. They had everything from traditional Moroccan dishes to eggs, potatoes, sausages, fresh fruits, different juices and all kinds of delicious pastries. I love a wonderful breakfast to start the day with and this was definitely one of them.

Then after breakfast (and eating a little too much) the outdoor swimming pool helped me to cool off and relax for awhile before going to explore the city.

There’s nothing I didn’t enjoy in my stay at Riad Fès – Relais & Châteaux, they really made my days in Fez even better. Whatever arrange you need they can help you with that, Awa and the entire staff are the nicest.

As you might know and I have told you before I never recommend anything I don’t like or enjoy and my stay here was one of my favorites in 2017. Thank you again Riad Fès – Relais & Châteaux for a lovely time!
