“Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth is a city of freedom. And in freedom most people find sin” ― John Green.
About a year and a half ago I went to Amsterdam for the first time and totally loved it. Even tho I didn’t have much time to explore this amazing city I really enjoyed the couple of days I got to spend there. And why only a couple of days? Well, I went with a friend for four days but a situation out of our control happened to us and we had to waste almost two days without leaving our hotel.
But that’s also a cool thing about traveling, nothing is certain and it’s all up to you how to act and react to whatever situation happens on the way so the more positive and better attitude you have, the better 🙂
After that I just wanted to do as much as possible and don’t waste any more time. I got to see a lot of the center of Amsterdam and it’s canals and also a little more away from the city. I went to Zaanse Schans where you can find the famous windmills. You can get there in about one hour by bus or around 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal.
Since I just started my blog a few months ago and didn’t have it back then, I wanted to share some pictures from my Amsterdam trip with you and maybe cheer you to go, It’s a really fun and beautiful city and I’m sure you’d have a great time there. I can’t wait to go back to explore more (and eat all the sweets and desserts from everywhere) and share it with you!
Have you been to Amsterdam before? What did do there? Thanks for reading and happy adventures <3
